During the official visit of the Minister of Public Administration, Mr. Marash Dukaj, Montenegro signed the Accession Agreement for the “Digital Europe” Programme between the European Union and Montenegro.

The signing of this Agreement represents one of the most significant activities regarding the digital future of Montenegro.

Minister Dukaj stated that with the support of partners from the European Union, Montenegro will accelerate the development of digital transformation, enhance electronic services, improve cyber-attack prevention methods, and promote digital education in order to provide modern technologies to citizens and businesses.

“This are excellent news. The Agreement opens a new chapter in the development of our country aimed at advancing digital transformation and overall economic progress, benefiting the entire community. Moreover, the €7.5 billion fund becomes available for us to apply for projects and innovations.”

“Digital Europe opens the doors for us to participate in projects financed by the Programme, collaborate with partners from across the European Union, utilise solutions developed through the Programme, and align with the priorities of the European Union in the field of digital technologies,” emphasised Minister Dukaj.
